From the Bottom of My Art

I like the metaphor of mosaic: Building something complete, bit by bit, is exactly what we do with our lives, so each mosaic I make either explores a potential life or exposes the pieces and parts of a subject.

In my Shockoe Bottom studio, I do both functional mosaics (vases, trivets, tables) and hang-it-on-the-wall art, according to my whims. Here are some examples from the past and current pieces on sale.
